Cold Stone Creamery - Fishkill

I enjoy Cold Stone Ice Cream shop because their flavors are unique compared to other popular brands. They offer a variety of delicious options. The fact that there are locations in Fishkill and Poughkeepsie is convenient for those in Dutchess County. The only downside is that their ice cream can be pricey.

The ice cream at this restaurant is large, but the owners are terrible. They rely on young school-aged employees, mostly women, to run their business. These employees provide good customer service on a daily basis, but behind the scenes, the owners, especially the rude and unfaithful son, are careless. They don't hesitate to threaten to dock employees' pay for honest mistakes. Before you go and spend money on their overpriced ice cream, consider how the staff are treated as objects instead of people.

I visited this restaurant with some friends and when we were ready to order, three employees were having a loud conversation about how poorly they were treated. One of them bluntly said, "People always leave because the management/owners don't know how to run a business or speak to their employees respectfully." This incident made me question the overall environment of the restaurant. It's been a few weeks and I haven't returned. I hope the employees find better opportunities where they are valued and respected.

I walked in and was greeted with a playful scent of waffle cones. The ice cream was so creamy and delightful, so many options for any ice cream lover! Definitely recommend this Coldstone location, all around amazing!
