Einstein Bros Bagels - Fitchburg

I placed an online order in advance during their operating hours, only to arrive at the restaurant and find it closed. If Bagel Bros can't value my time and money, I won't be returning.

I love Einstein Bagels. I do not love this location. They are not open the hours their website is listing. Knowing they have limited hours, we went early on a Saturday morning. Come to find out, they are not open on weekends even though their websitesaid they were open till 1pm. Super disappointing.

Quick, hassle free, and great customer service. The food was also great and would recommend this location to anyone!

I simply wanted to order a bagel and an iced coffee, but I was being charged for a cold brew instead. When I pointed out that I wanted an iced coffee, not a cold brew, I was informed by two employees that the cold brew was their version of an iced coffee. However, this was confusing as they were listed separately on the menu. I ended up changing my order to a hot coffee. As I handed over my card to pay, the manager asked if I wanted to cancel my order, which seemed unnecessary. After receiving my bagels without a bag, I had to ask for one. Despite being grateful that they were open, I found the simplest order to be more complicated than it should have been. It's no surprise that they have long lines. I will be willing to drive an extra 10 minutes to a different location where I know I will be treated like a valued customer and can rely on the staff to fulfill my order smoothly.

I have been to this restaurant four times in a row and each time they have been closed during their advertised business hours. Twice they changed their hours without updating anywhere, once they had a sign up saying their oven was down, and once they had a sign saying they couldn't find anyone to work. Einstein Bagels is one of my favorite places to eat and I have visited locations across the country, but this particular location is the worst I have experienced. It seems like the owner is not interested in running a successful business or doesn't know how to. I suggest considering taking away their franchise and giving it to someone else. I miss eating here. They are now only open for 30 posted hours a week, but it's unclear how many hours they are actually open. Even if they couldn't find any staff, I would still keep my business open for 80 to 100 hours a week, especially on weekends when they would do most of their business. Currently, they are not open at all on weekends. I hope things improve soon.
