Contribuisci feedbackOn a peaceful Sunday morning, my partner and I discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. While the menu was predominantly focused on waffles, it offered much more than just that. I opted for a waffle topped with popcorn chicken, a delightful sauce, and actual popcorn. We also enjoyed a sweet waffle accompanied by some coffee. The meal was fantastic, reasonably priced for the location, the ambiance was well-designed, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
We had originally planned to visit the Rose Street Market in Fitzroy on a Saturday morning, but as we made our way there, we stumbled upon Horse On Heels. The cozy interior and the irresistible scent of waffles wafting from the open kitchen drew us in. We decided to order three waffles - two sweet (Nutella-based) and one savoury (with a mushroom omelette and cherry tomatoes). They were all incredibly delicious! My daughters quickly devoured their shared waffle and we ended up ordering another one. The lattes were also of good quality. We will definitely be returning to Horse On Heels in the future!
I discovered this restaurant online and decided to try their breakfast options. We ordered the big breakfast and granola with matcha panna cotta, along with an Iced Chai and cold brewed Matcha to drink (photos attached). The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was polite and the seating areas were comfortable, with both indoor seating with air conditioning and a covered outdoor area. I highly recommend everything we tried, especially the salted caramel cream brownie sandwich we got to go - it was amazing! Don't forget to try the waffles as well, as they are a specialty of the restaurant.

The food was perfect and all at an affordable price. Polite staff, nice seating areas: inside with air con as well as a covered outside area. Would recommend all of the above as well as the salted caramel cream brownie sandwich we picked up to go, that was an incredible treat!Waffles are their thing so be sure to try one!
