Ottima cucina Greca in un ambiente vittoriano ricavato in una ex macelleria, cordialità e servizio essenziale Aussie way, comodo anche per mamme con passeggino e bambini che si divertiranno nella sand pit... Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Arrived on a Sunday about 2pm, there were about 8 people in total in the place and I waited over an hour to get some bacon and eggs... only to get approached to ask if there was anything else I wanted to order as thy had forgotten to put my order through! After that it was very hard to go find somewhere to eat as all the kitchens were closed surrounding the place. Not impressed at the waste of time!
Had some family visiting who wanted to try a local 'trendy' restaurant. We had been here before so it was an obvious choice. Lots of seating, including outdoors. Staff were attentive and friendly. Service was good and our breakfast was served fairly promptly. A few people in here, including youngsters, who were well behaved ! I had the french toast which was a mixture of salty and sweet and it was a sensation ! My son had the big breakfast and his girlfriend had the pancakes. No complaints at all and good size serves too. Coffees and chais were well made also. I'll be back to try the big breakfast next time.
We had a very enjoyable meal here. It looks small from the front but keep going through the building out the back to where there is a safe children's play area. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed himself playing with te other kids, the toys and the sand. Meanwhile the adults had a leisurely meal served by the very friendly staff. They have good coffee and are even licensed.
Cheryl Kennedy — 1 starHave given this place a few tries and today was the last. Service was ridiculously slow!!!!!!!! Last time i personally could not eat my pancakes. TodAY After more than an hour kids finally get there toast with Vegemite! Milkshakes no flavour. Soup no flavour. Vegetarian says no bacon on my French toast but gets bacon! But i think the worst is as the staff member apologies for the delay he places each piece of cutlery on the table by handling it from the end we are going to eat from. Seriously all this stuff is basic hospitality! Sure you have a sand pit and toys but you have no no no idea about hospitality. We came here to celebrate children's birthday party but never again.
Have moved recently to the area and was looking for somewhere to eat on Nicholson street. Retro cafe with heaps of space and playground out back, so it is child friendly. Food and coffee were excellent, only downfall was the eggs cooled down quick. This will be become a local for sure.
