While they provide a tax bill as required, they do not accept payment receipts, which is inconvenient. Additionally, they add a credit card surcharge without clearly indicating it on the bill. This lack of transparency can be frustrating, as it makes it difficult to reconcile the total amount paid until receiving the credit card statement from the bank days later. It would be more helpful if the tax bill clearly outlined all charges to match the payment on the bank statement.
Last Wednesday evening we gave to the evening with my family, my wife and me from forster docurry and had the opportunity to catch up with our son. but we were quickly underwhelmed by the food that was served. I ordered the...Fisherman's basket at $25.95 and was presented with a small metal basket from a deep-fried frozen piece of fish that resembled the old birdseye fishing fingers they use to get. a few fried garnels, I would certainly not have called them as such, a few calamari rings and I think they were skallops, and there were two of them. all served a small portion fryed with lemon wedge and wine sauce. I would have liked to have a lemon of the meal to add a little taste, but the metal basket on which this gastronomic failure was served was only that a basket where the juice of the lemon would have simply poured over the table. my daughter in law ordered the fed scotchfilet she said was hard and she couldn't finish it. simply, they don't waste their hard earned at this place there are much better offers in the Canada bay area.
My family attended two birthday parties at Canada Bay Club. We were hoping for a better experience than our last visit, as it had been almost a year since we were last there. Unfortunately, out of our group of twelve, only three people enjoyed their meals - two had the salmon and one had the prawn and linguini. The salmon was good as it was Australian and didn't have any bones. The main complaint was about the beer-battered fish and chips, which two people ordered. We later discovered that the fish used was a cheaper variety from Vietnam. At $23.00, this dish was considered expensive for what it was. My daughter and I opted for the crumb-crusted barramundi, which tasted frozen. My son had the average cannelloni and my stepdaughter found the chicken skewers to be unacceptable. Even my eleven-year-old granddaughter thought the spaghetti bolognese was not very tasty.
The Chinese food restaurant is excellent and the portions are very large so be careful to order 3 plates for 4 people very reasonable and the staff are so friendly enjoy
Had a take away delivery, fried rice not up to usual standard, short soup very disappointing, and chicken omelette was inedible, strong beef gravy and that was all you could taste through the chicken and the omelette, gave it to the dogs, San choy bow...tasted completely different to what you get when you eat at the club, overall a waste of $103. If it is new chef not very impressed
