Cornish Pasty Co - Flagstaff

We were visiting from another city and decided to check out this restaurant. It was our first experience with this cuisine and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pastry I ordered was excellent - the crust was light and crispy and the filling was generous. We also tried Scottish eggs for the first time and found them to be quite delicious.

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a busy Wednesday night and were amazed at how crowded it was! I adored the classic English style of the restaurant, and the addition of a local jazz band made the evening even more special. We decided to share the delicious vegetarian pot pie, which was the perfect comfort food after a tiring day of driving. Overall, this place is fantastic, although we did have some difficulty finding a waitress to take our order.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. I have been wanting to try it for a long time because I have always heard great things about it, and it did not disappoint! I visited on a Monday afternoon, and the server informed me right away that they were out of several items (clearly marked on the menu). Luckily, all of the vegan options were still available so I had no problem finding something to eat. I was torn between ordering the vegan pot pie and the vegan Guinness stew, but after asking for a recommendation, I chose the stew. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The portion was so filling and flavorful that I didn't need to order any sides. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered another one to go for dinner. The service was excellent, the food was great, and they had Guinness on tap, which was a nice touch. I will definitely come back whenever I am in the area.

For a later night drink and a bit to eat this is your place. Mainly for the local workers watering hole and a younger college crowd. Loud music but friendly staff and something to wash away the day or week from brews to hand crafted drinks. Large indoorseating options and covered outdoor patio if you want to get away from the noise. Not fancy but fun easy going atmosphere tomeet up with friends. Cheers!!

The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, but I only found one that I enjoyed (too many included mushrooms or fake meat). However, the vindaloo dish was excellent and I highly recommend it.
