Cute little deli in the heart of Hillsborough, needs community support, buy a sandwich there keep a landmark there. Buy a sandwich at WaWa watch another built 4 miles away. (Formally Lori’s Deli pre-2006)

Great place for breakfast and a quick lunch. Owner is cool. Would recommend visiting and ordering something.

Inexpensive but delicious... and good down to earth people

First off I 'm always polite when seeing about a new establishment. I walked in and first thing I noticed is no one was inside Donna 's Deli. This was at lunch time on a Friday. That is a very bad sign seeing a deli empty. So after looking at the menu I decided on a easy choice. A standard whole Italian Sub Sandwich. I was told they have no sub rolls at all. None...... what deli has no sub rolls and isn 't busy at lunch. Bad signs, now thats 2 of them. So after deciding on a deli roll and having the Italian sandwich made, I was disappointed but I was hungry. So the final nail in the coffin was this. I asked if they don 't carry sub rolls anymore or are they just out for the day? The lady making my sandwich stopped making my sandwich and looked at me and said Do you still want the sandwich or do you want to go eat somewhere else? I politely said I was only asking for future reference so I can come back or call ahead for an order. But after what she said, I will never go back. No small business owner has a right to talk back or down to a customer. The customer is why you even have an income. From the looks of it, Donna 's is doomed and I highly recommend for anyone to go somewhere else. HORRIBLE customer service, HORRIBLE communication and SUB-PAR food quality.......STAY AWAY.
