Reservations had to be made six months in advance, and the menu was sent to us in French, which required some translation help. Our table was reserved for the evening, and we were attended by several waitresses who continuously topped off our wine and water as needed. The entrée was a cognac cave featuring very old drinks. The chefs changed from month to month, inviting their families to come and cook for us. The restaurant is set in a beautiful horse ranch, and although I’m not sure if it still exists, that evening remains the best dining experience of my life. Now at 77, I will never forget that unforgettable night.
The starter was a cognac cave featuring very old cognac. The chefs varied from month to month; their families would come and cook for us. The setting at the Horse Ranch was beautiful. I’m not sure what it's like now, but that was the best dining experience of my life. Now at 77, I will never forget that evening.
We've lived in the area for over 25 years, and my mom had always wanted to visit this restaurant. Last year, we finally took her there for her birthday, and now we’re kicking ourselves for not going sooner. From start to finish, the meal was outstanding. The salads were fresh, inventive, and absolutely delicious! My sister had the lamb, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Mom enjoyed a delightful seafood dish, while I savored an exquisite chicken meal. And the desserts... Wow! I highly recommend the crème brûlée. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Even though there were three other tables occupied nearby, the dining area felt pleasantly quiet, allowing us to enjoy the lovely soundtrack of "La Vie En Rose" playing in the background. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions we had about the menu. We can't wait to return!
My wife and I went to a romantic dinner. To our surprise there are children who visit Thier grandmother. I guess they all live upstairs. The children who are uncontrollable. They came up and down the stairs, made noise and ran over the place. Looks like childcare. Maybe in our own house with our own children. The waitress was a little rude. Appetizers where great. For the main court I had the Sirloin. I asked about medium well and when it came it was medium rare. I guess the cook was too busy taking care of the kids since they ran into the kitchen. Has potential, but I wouldn't recommend this place at that time. If you're romantic, go somewhere else. I'm sorry.
