Le Relais Bressan - Flaxton

I adore this classic French restaurant located at the top of Montville/Flaxton. Thierry, the owner, greets guests with a booming voice in the dining area, but the food is absolutely amazing. The escargot, a delicious smoked lamb belly roulade (possibly the best thing I've ever tasted), and the flawless creme brûlée for dessert were all top-notch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone without hesitation!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Le Relais Bressan. This place very much reminds me of some of the great eating places I went to while in France. It is authentic.The owners are very friendly providing exceptional service.The food is sensational with lots of classic French dishes. The sauces are just divine. All of this in a beautiful setting looking across the valleys makes this a charming place to dine at.If you are visiting during the day don't forget Cocorico which is right next door. All the chocolates are handmade by the talented Sebastien Clerc. The raspberry and the lavender will blow your mind away. And the hot chocolates are the best I have ever had.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and consisted of traditional French cuisine. The service was exceptional. I would definitely return again in the future.

This restaurant has consistently been great. I first went to Thierry's previous location in Stafford before he moved up in the world...literally, up the mountains. I still regularly visit his current establishment from Brisbane. The food is amazing, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Smart restaurant owners should visit Le Relais Bressan to see how to keep customers coming back time and time again!

We miss the “road less travelled” on our FRENCH journeys but here we find a lovely little Maison Francais with good, honest French cuisine just like we had in the villages of France. A most welcoming place, warm and friendly staff. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Bon appetit!
