Wendy's - Fleming Island

I can sum it up in one word: affordable! I really appreciate the new value meal they have introduced. They've reduced the prices on some items that used to cost $1.39 back down to $0.99. I remember when everything was $0.99! I ordered a baked potato, a double stack, and a drink, all for just a little over $3. You really can't beat that! Everything came out hot and fresh. I arrived a bit before 11 am and was worried that they might not have any baked potatoes ready or that they wouldn't be open, but the staff was friendly and served me quickly. They were fantastic! They even included salt and pepper in my bag for the baked potato without me even asking.

My husband and I chose to have lunch here primarily for the $2.99 meals that were advertised. I ordered the double cheeseburger, while my husband opted for the chicken sandwich. My order was correct, but my husband's came out as a plain chicken sandwich instead of the club that was advertised. He returned it, but when it came back, they had forgotten the bacon. He had to send it back again, and at no point did the staff apologize or acknowledge the errors. Although the meals were only $2.99, I can't help but wonder if it was really worth it.

We recently relocated from Fleming Island to a new home on the west side, and we truly miss this restaurant. The quality of both the service and the food was consistently exceptional, and the staff was always friendly. They always had what we wanted in stock, and their efficiency never wavered. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they consistently impressed us. Every employee was accommodating, quick, and effective, and we are grateful for all their hard work.

The fries and nuggets weren't as fresh as they usually are. However, the location and atmosphere were quite satisfactory.

I never went inside the restaurant; I only used the drive-thru and DoorDash.
