Chimney Rock Inn Flemington

It's been a while since I visited the Chimney Rock location in Flemington due to my previous experiences with slow service. However, during my recent visit, I was pleased to find that the seating time was quick and the service significantly improved. Unfortunately, the pizza was not as delicious as I remembered; the cheese lacked flavor, and I found myself needing to add salt to enhance the taste. On the bright side, the pizza was still thin and crispy with a perfect crust. The nachos were outstanding—so good, in fact, that we devoured them before I had a chance to take a picture for this review. I've been visiting Chimney Rock in Bridgewater for over 25 years, and I've been happy to see this location open in Flemington. It's reassuring to see that both the service and seating time have improved, but I do wish the pizza tasted as great as I remember it.

We went about. 45 minutes to a fair from where we live and decided to dinner around this location. My wife found this place and it was a lot of fun, lots of space inside, but we chose to sit outside on such a beautiful day. They had good drinks and the food was delicious. My wife and I shared some fried pimples with a spicy dipping sauce and then split a BBQ plate with brisket and pulled pork and ribs and garlic sweet potatoes and cola. Everything was so good. My son has a cowboyburger and it was perfect! (I love cowboyburgers) with crispy onions and bacon and cheddar cheese. All right. We also started with Mozzarella sticks that are handmade. So crisp and cheesy. We really enjoyed our dinner there at Chimney Rock Inn. We would definitely come back if we were in the area

Super friendly bartenders who were definitely upstairs! They kept our drinks full without asking us. We ordered the vegan chilli pizza because I never had chili on my pizza. It was good, but I wasn't a fan of crust. I think it was whole wheat or gluten-free or so... either so, I loved all vegan options available.

Our waitress was fantastic! We ordered a quesadilla, which tasted like a margarita pizza. I didn’t mind, though! The mac and cheese sandwich was delicious, although it did have some fuzz on the toast. Then we tried the tacos, which were the highlight of the meal! I would love to explore more items on the menu. The mac and cheese sandwich came with garlic wedges, which we chose. I took photos before I noticed the fuzz!

Modifying my review. Comments about food and service still the same. Not happy that they are charging a new FEE on the bill. Inflation is hitting us all. I think the service charge is BS. Not going back until they stop charging it. Always a good stable meal at OK prices. Good service. Good menu choices.
