Typical German Wine Restaurant in Florsheim-Wicker. They are specialized in wine and schnitzel. (!)Worth to visit if you would like to experience the typical German Wine culture, that is common in this area (wine region (Rheingau, Riesling). It is a so called "Strausswirtschaft". Which is a semi-official Restaurant that wine growers able to sell their wines. The Service is not fancy at all, but this is never common in a Strausswirtschaft. People of the village come there to meet up and drink wine.Therfore the portions are large. They offer around 12 Kinds of schnitzel. Sausage and meatloaf. Steak only on friday and knuckle of pork only on tuesdays (order beforehand).

I gotta say, it has become one of my favorite places to take my friends who have never been to a "Straussewirtschaft". One does never get disappointed about the food, the wine range within whites is big, affordable and I haven´t met one yet that didn't like the mood and spirit of the little place. Yes, it´s not a fancy place, but it doesn´t claim it either and this is the main reason why I enjoy myself there.Always friendly Staff, talkative table sharers, and really just a good night out.The owner told me once " I don´t care what you wear, as long as you find a table"....couldn´t agree more!

Hervorragende Straußwirtschaft,qualitativ gute Speisen,alles frisch zubereitet,Winzerweine aus dem Rhein.Main-Gebiet,sprechen von Auslese ,bester Qualität,die Umgebung in dem kleinen Ort Wicker,lassen die Zeit und Sress vergessen.
