Penn Station East Coast Subs - Florence

Love this place. This is my go to for sub sandwiches. And the fries. Not sure what they do to them but they are so addictive.

When I first started going here it was great; workers knew my order and asked for the size. Now there are new employees and not knowing my order is perfectly fine. But, I gave it 4 stars because of one thing: • I did a call in came in roughly 20 min later to pick it up. I sat at the tall table in front patiently waited. I could see my sandwiches laying by the lemonade was asked my name 2x so they could check my order. Each time I told them those were mine back there the response was always 'we 're waiting on fries. ' 45 MINUTES LATER.... I am still waiting. Order after order leaving before I received mine. The GM or owner happened to be there and came out. He noticed me still sitting and inquired as to what was going on. I calmy explained, and he got my order to me right away and told me the next time I come in my order is FREE! Outside of that incident in the 7 years I 've been going it 's been great. Food is great, friendly people, and in a nice, safe and clean environment.

LOVE Penn Station! Each time I go I create my own sandwich they never disappoint! The fries are always cooked to order so they are nice and toasty! They do also have chocolate chunk cookies which are fairly large and yummy! They make cold and grilled subs so whatever your preference they got you covered! If you are a pickle person like I am, they have really good pickle slices, always ask for double pickles!! It doesn't cost extra!

It looks like a complete change in staff. The service it's professional, courteous and I'm glad to say quicker.

I'm sure the food is delicious, but I don't think I'll be returning No one behind the counter used gloves.
