Maxsell's - Florence

We love Maxsells. The atmosphere is wonderful and the view (over the lake) is also. Staff and new owners are very attentive and professional. The menu has great selection and the food is excellent!

On Tuesday night, I attended a beer dinner at Maxsell. The event featured four courses of inventive food expertly paired with delicious brews, and it was definitely worth braving the snowstorm for! It's a unique venue for a special dining experience, and if you haven't been yet, you're truly missing out.

My family and I not only enjoyed an amazing dinner at Maxsells Restaurant and Suites, but they also helped us organize my wedding ceremony. It is a stunning venue for a wedding! The nautical setting was exactly what I envisioned for my big day. Sarah and her team went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and that my day was stress-free. The service we received was exceptional. The master suite in which I stayed was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for all my bridesmaids as we got ready. I can't recommend having your wedding here highly enough! The location is gorgeous, and the service is top-notch. Thank you, Sarah, for making my wedding day perfect!

The food is absolutely fantastic! Scott Ash is an incredible chef, and Sarah Ash has an excellent palate for wine. You definitely shouldn't miss the wine and beer pairing dinners!

Had dinner at Maxsells and not only was the food great our waitress was top notch as well. In addition we also had our daughter's wedding there not only did we have a wonderful view, Sarah and her staff made sure everything was perfect. We also stayed in the guest rooms above the restaurant very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
