Microtel Inn Suites - Florence

Don’t stay here. Management is terribly rude. Rooms are outdated and gross. There were roaches in the bathroom.

The worst motel that I have ever stayed at not clean, TV stunk, Breakfest was a joke Needs to be closed down I will never stay at a Microtel again

This hotel is in a great location and very affordable, but the price point comes at a cost. The room had mildew and a strong musky odor. The comforter had cigarette burns and was stained. There was no microwave in the room even though the listing mentioned it. The breakfast in the morning consisted of a waffle maker, sliced bread, bagels, donuts and donut holes, two kinds of cereal, yogurt, coffee, fruit and orange juice, and muffins. If you are relying on breakfast, bring a protein bar or shake to supplement. We had no bad interactions with any staff. Check-in was easy with no issues, as was checkout and the few interactions in-between. There are a lot of restaurants and stores very close to the hotel. There is an ice machine, soda machine, and a snack vending machine in the room with the washer and dryer. The lobby and the breakfast area were kept very clean.

It was borderline sketchy. But it was a perfect location for our family vacation. The area has a ton of places to eat. We were able to sleep and shower and keep our stuff safe while we were out and about.

Was very convenient to have an airport shuttle. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and well trained.
