Off Bay Street Bistro - Florence

The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was both delicious and innovative.

It has been a long time since Maple Street Grille closed, but La Pomodori Ristorante and Waterfront Depot are now the best dining options in Florence. I recently dined at the bayfront restaurant for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The chicken francese I ordered was exceptional - tender, buttery, and infused with hints of wine and lemon. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the vegetable medley was delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, not too heavy or light, and the aromas were just right. It's clear that this place has some serious talent in the kitchen. Along with Hukilau, it seems that there is now some real competition among the top restaurants in town. As a food enthusiast, I can confidently say that this small community offers some of the best cuisine on the West Coast. Cheers to a job well done!

Luckily, we were able to quickly find a table outside since the inside was fully booked. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Fantastic gluten-free and vegan options. We loved the build-your-own pizza. Very friendly and helpful staff. Outdoor heaters. Absolutely would dine here again!
