Rick's Barbecue - Florence

I really wanted to rate this place 5 stars, but the side dishes on the menu just don't measure up to the quality of the meat options. The meats are excellent, but sides like baked beans and potato salad feel more like an afterthought, lacking any real flavor. It’s clear they have a solid foundation, but it seems like they’re not fully committed to making it spectacular.

The menu prices have changed and increased. The drive-through consistently has a long wait time, and the yellow blockers they have installed are both ridiculous and frustrating.

The food was excellent. I really enjoy Rick's BBQ, and their baked potato salad is the best I've ever had.

The food at this restaurant is simply outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend trying the fruit tea.

As always, we love to go there for the delicious barbecue ribs and a fantastic ham sandwich.
