3.5 stars. Decent place. I only got take out so not sure what the dine in experience would be like. There is street parking. I ordered the veggie pakoras, chicken jwano, Saag paneer (both Indian hot), a garlic naan and a cheese naan. The curries came with plain white rice. The quantities felt less for a $17 charge on the curries. The pakoras were just ok onion, peppers and cauliflower in fried dough. The accompanying chutneys were nice. The jwano wasn't spicy as I expected. The tomato based curry had a homemade feel to it. The ajwain (carom seeds) definitely leant it's flavor to the curry. But beyond that, it was just another tomato based curry. So not too exciting. The Saag, on the other hand, was spicy as expected and very very flavorful. It's not just plain Saag, they definitely add to the spinach based flavor. The paneer is also fried by itself first, which makes the curry even better. I enjoyed it more. However, both curries had lots of oil, which also leaked into the takeout bag. I separated as much of it as I could to use in the future. The cheese naan had lots of cheese making it very heavy by itself. I only had a quarter of it. The garlic was ok but I'd have liked more garlic on it. The rice was a little hard but ok with the curries. All in all decent food but a little pricier than I expected. Btw, they serve Indian beer so for beer drinkers, that's an experience to take.
