Large brewery located a few meters from the abbey orvale. on several floors, the large tabs can give the refectory aspect of the university by the layout but the place remains rather quiet for the number of covers. nice welcome, good waiters, relatively fast service. a varied menu offering beer and cheese specialties, local boards, pasta, meat and dishes for children. correct prices (62€ for 4, drinks and coffee included).

A l'ange cu is a brewery restaurant located near the brewery of 'orval (250m). this brewery restaurant is a must-see place for those who want to taste green orval. consumed daily by the monks, this table beer under pressure is also brewed to the orval, but available exclusively for the guardian angel of the general public. the place of a rather modern style is very frequented by tourists. it is therefore best to enjoy the calm and serenity of the 'abbaye before passing there !!! culinary preparations based on beer or orval cheese are used for a reasonable budget: orval-based cheese pies (orval-based cheesecake); 12.5EUR) passing through local boards (orval cheese, gaumais paste, gaumais sausage, ham, salad). this Sunday of September, we could deplore the relatively slow quality of service for rather simple preparations. arrived at 1pm, we went out of the table at 3pm after ordering two orvaliflettes and a local council! public servants, slightly submerged, are not available and smiling. Finally, know that you're not immune to a small maladdress from them when you serve the boards! Thankfully, a guardian angel watches over you.
