Hendel's - Florissant

Now, onto the food: I started with stuffed mushrooms as my appetizer, filled with crab meat and cream cheese. They were absolutely delicious! For my main course, I opted for a turkey club and a side salad. The sandwich was piled so high that I could only manage to eat half of it. The salad was also great, rounding out a fantastic meal.

I opted for the Chicken Power Bowl, and it was bursting with flavor and a generous serving size. I recommend getting there early for dinner, ideally before 5 pm, or call ahead to add your name to the list. The staff is fantastic, from the host to the server.

I've lived in Florissant for most of my life, but this was my first time visiting the restaurant (last night, 6/11/22) and it exceeded my expectations! The food and atmosphere were incredible, and the service was excellent thanks to our friendly waiter, Zach. My friend and I ordered the Cajun Carbonara and spinach artichoke dip, and I also enjoyed a Peach Sangria. I’m definitely planning to return this week!

So this is my Very 1st Five Star review. This is a very hidden gem in Old Town Florissant. I've lives in north county over 20 years and never knew this place was here. They have so many peacefully romantic seating areas. Its amazing you can even sit on the patio and chill by a fire place. The service was awesome we had a waitress but she also had a little team of people grabbing empty plates and checking on our drinks and service. The food was out of this world. I chose a healthier option with the Salmon Power Bowl. My wife wanted to try the Turkey Sandwich and French Onion Soup. It was bith of our 1st times tasting that soup. Everything they brought out to us from the Spinach Artichoke Dip to the Entrees was perfect. Neither of us had a issue or complaint. I loved my visit and will be back soon.

Our first fine here was great. We joined the waiting list so we were seated as soon as we arrive. To Mac and cheese bites were amazing the ranch was top tier. For our entrees we got the chicken Philly and the burger. The side salad with the house dressing has so much flavor in the dressing. It would have been nice to have cheese and croutons. The chicken Philly had a great sauce and nice buttery bun but the chicken didn’t taste like anything. It has no flavor. The buyer was so good. Perfect size and great potato wedges that paid well with the ranch. The CBD drink was like any other seltzer drink that tastes like a watered down soda but the ginger one had more flavor to it. I’m glad this place is in north county the staff was so nice and friendly and very quick with the food on a Saturday afternoon
