The food is absolutely outstanding. Previously, their only weak spot was the pancakes, but they've updated the recipe, and now they're fantastic—loaded with more ingredients and perfectly crispy. Everything else on the menu is delicious as well!
I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and the food is truly authentic without being overly saucy. If you're looking for some light-flavored Korean cuisine, this is a great choice. I especially enjoy their Ginseng Chicken Rice Soup and Chicken Porridge, as they are incredibly comforting.
Kalguksu had a strong seasoning taste. The atmosphere was very noisy even though it was lunch time because of the customers drinking alcohol. Pajeon was very crispy and delicious.
I love this place. My favorite is the chicken soup with pan/flat noodles and the chicken porridge. I also love the radish kimchi here. My other half loves the octopus or seafood long noodle. It can only really suit groups of 4 to 6, so large parties would need to sit apart. They take credit card for purchases greater than 20 bucks but bring cash for tips!!!. 20 dollars isn't hard if you plan to eat with someone. The portions are not small but tough for my other half to finish, so I do not expect you to order more than 1 dish per person and 1 dish for 2 to 3 small kids. Parking is Street metered parking. Their last serve time is 830pm, so don't come too late.
