Mcfadden's Saloon - FLUSHING

I visited on game night, and it was extremely crowded with not enough servers for the tables. The bar situation was even worse! It was nearly impossible to order drinks with only one bartender at each end of a 20-foot long bar. The drink prices were steep too—$20 for a specialty drink and $40 for beer buckets. The venue itself is nice and spacious, but the staffing levels just can’t keep up with the large crowds on game nights.

Unfortunately, it's only open during Mets home games (it opens about two hours BEFORE game time, and closes about two hours AFTER game time). The establishment is attached to the stadium, and you can enter the game from the establishment (with a valid ticket, of course), but once you come back to McFadden's, you can't re-enter the game again (unless you buy another game ticket), which is kind of silly, in my opinion. McFadden's is very spacious, and the air conditioning is ample (thank goodness). They have several bartenders, so the service is always good. They also have a live DJ, who loves interacting with the crowd. The food is also good, and better than ballpark prices. Ample seating for dining. This place is pretty big. The bathrooms have attendants (which I personally find to be an annoyance, but to each their own).

We had great time after the Mets game. They have a fabulous beer selection, and the atmosphere is very festive. The bar tenders are a lot of fun, and it's great to be there during a playoff game. With every basket the crowd was cheering. I highly recommend coming here for a big game, it was a great time!

Incredible experience! The bartenders were quick and welcoming. The servers stood out with their impressive speed and agility. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic!
