We stopped by here by accident. It is a small place with limited seating. However, the coffee was great and the desserts, etc were excellent. The young staff were very friendly and helpful.
This was so disappointing. We were looking forward to visiting the Museum of the Flat Earth, as Fogo is supposed to be one of the four corners of the Flat earth. We were on the island for two days at the end of June, a Sunday and Monday. The little sign in the window of the door indicates that they are closed Sunday and Monday, except during the summer. June 26-27 would not appear to be in the summer. I would have thought the tourist season in Newfoundland was rather short and one would want to maximize their business opportunities.
Went to get a coffee because of the reviews. Not very good coffee and over priced. Also the "treats" did not look very appetizing. Place is small and 2 people took up all the seating space. Have had far better coffee stopping at convenience stores all over Newfoundland.
Enjoyed our stop here. The partridge berry scone was just so good as were cookies and the coffee awesome! Also found it very interesting to look at some of the items in the"Flat Earth Museum" next door.
