Nice place to go and eat a bite after you walk around a few hours while shopping. The outdoor seats are perfect if you want to hear the rockin bands of the Back Bistro rental.
Tried Back Bistro as another new place to try for Happy Hour / Date Night. We found back to have a beautiful atmosphere, a diverse food and drink Happy Hour menu, helpful and friendly and both the drink and food very well. They had one of my favorite beers from Coronado Brewing on tap and the special drink that my lady had was surprisingly good. Had a good time and would recommend Back Bistro a Go sometime.
A reservation is recommended. Both indoor and outdoor dining available. Service was fast and attentive. Our waiter had excellent recommendations when he was asked. The food was good, the cocktails were perfect, and the dessert was incredible! Some favorites were the roasted artichoke hearts, the crispy brussel sprouts, the house salad, the delicious goat cheese, and the vanilla custard with chocolate and caramel was for to die.
Made online reservations about 30 minutes before leaving the hotel. Upon arrival they had my reservations and sat within five minutes of arrival, although it was moderately crowded. No menus. You scan the Q code with your phone. The waiter came less than five minutes after our table and took our drinks orders. I ordered a coconut in a pine cocktail. Not too strong, but also not too big a drink, but was very happy with it. I ordered Shrimp and Polandta. That was very good, but you have better to drink with butter like your meal! Large size shrimps. Sausage and few slices of cooked tomatoes. My daughter ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. The broken chicken breast was slightly burned on an edge, but she said it was all good in everything and she would order it again. The desserts were excellent. She ordered the Crème brûlée and I ordered the Tres Pot de Crème. The latter was essentially Crème brûlée with a chocolate goose which was poured over it and caramelized sauce was salted. Very decadent and delicious. The cook made sweet whip cream flowers on the side. A little artist! A very pleasant evening with excellent food and good service. Would definitely return and recommend.
Came here for brunch/lunch not knowing what to expect. First surprise was to see a really nice bar with a whiskey menu, which is extensive, diverse and fairly accesible. The food was tasty and of good portion. We sat in the patio area. They had tons of heaters and were nice to turn them on for us. Service was great and it seemed all patrons were having the same quality of service. Inside of the place is nicely decorated. Overall, well deserving of a visit.
