Hop Sing Palace - Folsom

I had a birthday party with my friends on Saturday night dinner. We ordered 6 different types of food and share. My favourite was Sichuan style Aubergine

....whose back has photos this time. The fried shrimps tasted brilliant... The best of sweet n sour pork I had in a while... Folsom now has a shuttle service that will take you around the old Folsom... Really cool to eat n by car... (Give em a tip)

My husband and I found Hop Sing Palace by searching for a gluten-free option on our way back from Apple Hill last Sunday. We went in and immediately asked if they could do something gluten-free. The beautiful Lana said enthusiastic, yes. She quickly put us down and gave us the menu. I didn't see a gluten-free section on the menu, so I just waited for Lana to return to the table. Lana returned to ask what we wanted, and we said we were not sure what to order. Lana said 90% of the menu was gluten-free!!! Wow! We ordered Sesam Chicken, Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef and Egg Foo Young. We were filled. We looked at the table and the plates of food were still full! So we asked for boxes to go and told them we had enough for 3 days! Lana dropped the bill. My husband estimated the bill at about $100.00. I looked at the amount and it was only $69.00! What? No additional costs for gluten-free food? Thank you for not punishing me for having an allergy to gluten and having charged me an exorbitant amount of money. So far we had lunch, breakfast and dinner tonight. The food of the Hop Sing Palace was delicious. It was nice to sit in a traditional Chinese restaurant with traditional furnishings. It was nice. I never dreamed that I could have traditional Chinese gluten-free food again. Thank you. Lana, so I can enjoy Egg Foo Young again.

Love the place. The front of the restaurant looks small, but there is another dining room at the back over the iron gate. Loved her Mu Shu Shrimp. Fried rice was not greasy, walnut beef was delicious, but the Mongolian beef was on the salty side. Price is reasonable.

This place was amazing ? ?. The gut who served us was awesome and very entertaining ? and friendly. Definitely worth the visit as the food was also amazing.. ?
