Powerhouse Pub - Folsom

I absolutely love this place! I've been living in Folsom for over 30 years, and it's my go-to spot for celebrating with family and friends. The atmosphere is always lively, thanks to the fantastic live music and bands that truly know how to entertain! I particularly enjoy the old-school hip hop on the patio, especially on warm summer nights. The vibe is relaxed, so you can dress comfortably in a t-shirt and shorts or a sundress with flats. I used to come here for blues nights on Sundays back in the '90s, and I'm thrilled to say that this place is still fantastic in 2022!

This is one of the best spots to enjoy live music and dance! I’ve created a unique sculpture called the Covid Dragon, which is 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It took me around 200 hours to complete, and it’s suspended 8 feet above the band at Powerhouse Pub. Additionally, I also craft epoxy river tables.

This venue boasts unique decor throughout, from the ceiling to the stage. It features a variety of live bands, ranging from blues to rock. There's a dance floor for those who want to get moving, along with two bars, including an upstairs area that offers a great view of the performances. The outdoor patio provides a nice setting to enjoy the music, whether it's from the band or a DJ who plays at designated times. There's also an additional bar outside. Seating is available on the patio, and when it gets hot, a misting system provides a refreshing coolness without getting you wet. This place is definitely worth a visit!

I had a fantastic experience at the venue! The pub atmosphere was inviting and lively, with an older but enjoyable crowd that seemed to be part of the show themselves. I definitely plan to return for more performances! Plus, the bartender was charming too!

I absolutely love this place! I only discovered it recently, but I've already seen Tommy Castro and Charlie Musselwhite perform there twice. It's a great funky spot, and since it's close to the Light Rail, you can leave your car at home.
