Gilles Frozen Custard - Fond du Lac

My mom worked here 80 years ago, and every time I visit Fondulac, I have to stop by this restaurant. The food is a solid 5, the service is top-notch at 5, and the atmosphere also deserves a 5.

I like the custard and the food has always been ok. My trouble lies with ownership. The car hops are exclusively women who meet their standards of attraction. I won’t eat here any longer

The service was excellent, with nostalgic car hops reminiscent of the past. The malts were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. For anyone from the northwest side of Chicago who remembers the Buffalo, Gilles’ malts are just as good!
