Table One - Fond du Lac

We discovered this restaurant to be a delightful place to eat. Although we were staying at the hotel this time, we will definitely return even when we're not. The menu was reasonably sized and offered an excellent selection. Our two dishes were extraordinary, with fantastic taste, beautiful presentation, and great value. We will certainly stop by the next time we're in town.

We decided to try this restaurant since we were staying at the hotel and had already dined at a few downtown spots. There were five of us in our party, and the restaurant had hardly any occupied tables. Despite that, it took about 90 minutes for our dinners to arrive. The service was extremely slow, even when it came to taking our drink orders. It seemed like there was just one hostess, one server, and one bartender, which likely meant a very small kitchen staff, too. Once we finally received our food, it was quite good, but I wouldn't return until the service improves significantly!

My husband I stopped at the Hotel Retlaw for an overnight on the way to Chicago. We decided to try the hotel restaurant, Table One. We could not have been more satisfied with our choice. We both had smoked Manhattans, brought tableside for preparation. They were superb. The charcuterie board was made with locally sourced cheeses our server was kind enough to find out where we could find them. Our meals were fantastic: tasty, perfectly portioned some of the best we've had this trip. We plan on returning to this beautiful hotel enjoying another meal at Table One!

It was my husband’s birthday and we had 5:00 reservations. We had the whole place to ourselves. Food was wonderful ! Felicia our waitress was wonderful!

Love the ambience of the restaurant and the quiet, private dining. The food was excellent. I had the steak and it was tender and flavorful. However, after the first couple of bites, the seasoning was a bit too spicy for my taste. Had the Leroux Blackberry Old Fashions and they too were excellent. The complimentary desert made our Anniversary just that much more special.
