I have been looking for a good artisanal sandwich shop for a while and thought this would be it… The man who helped us was very pleasant and kind with us! We got two sandwiches for 36$ total and it looked like a small snack. There was barely anything in them. One bread was very good but the filling seemed very measly. The other sandwich was just as bare and the bread wasn’t as fresh. I think this place definitely has a lot of potential if the owners just make sure they are serving high quality products as promised.
I had the pleasure of watching my first championship soccer match here at Le Chef. The staff was exceptional and upbeat with a welcoming energy. The drinks were on point and healthy portion NOvorners cut. The manager Ms Massiel was up for the task occasionally checking on us with a professional vibe and charismatic touch. I must put a return stamp and will entertain my friends from DC, NY to a place of positive energy and more importantly unique flow and exceptional food! A definite place to watch college and NFL football games fits the mold of upscale sportsbar with a business casual feel!
Sandwiches are worth every penny exceptional quality ingredients and the service is outstanding. This is a neighborhood gem
This is definitely an experience! The moment you walk through the door you are welcomed by Paul. I loved the way Paul took the time to explain all the ingrediants on their menu board and made excellent recommendations by giving taste samples. The customer service was exceptional. As for the sandwhiches, we ordered The Spainard and Kiko's Cuban. The flavors in these sandwhiches were very robust, from the orange marmalade creating a sweet and salty contrast in the Spaniard to the perfectly cooked pork in the cuban. These creations were very well thought out. Additionally, their claim to have the best cheesecake in town is TRUE! The perfectly sweetened, whipped and creamy cheesecake will melt in your mouth! YOU HAVE TO TRY THEIR CHEESECAKE! Lastly, we bought 1 Kiko's Cuban, 2 The Spainards Combos (2 chips, 1 drink, 1 cheesecake) and 1 Sanpellegrino which ran us a total of $125. The prices are a little steep but worth it because of the quality.
Just got a sandwich in this fine cheese house. I was excited to try this food and for $25 with chips and a drink expecting a lot. The sandwich was bad… The Spaniard was really bad, it had an orange marmalade in it that over powered every other flavor. Delectable cheese and meats? Can’t taste it. Just a bitter sweet marmalade and soggy bread. While the other things were interesting and good this miss was so strong that it overshadowed the whole experience.
