Manny's Steakhouse - Fontainebleau

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, Manny's makes you feel right at home. It has the look and feel of a fine dining restaurant but without the stuffiness. The food and service are amazing. The brownie is to die for. Nice, strong drinks. And when you are done, ask for a tour of the kitchen, wines and cognacs. It is absolutely amazing. I recommend it to everyone who walks into my bar. As for pricing, here's an example: 4 drinks, tuna carpaccio,10 oz filet mignon, 30 oz lobster tail, mashed potatoes, and a brownie, plus tip (which is not automatically included) was 270 dollars. Trust me...its worth every penny. And the servings are so big we could have split that dinner between 4 people. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

I 've been to Manny 's a few times. It draws a great crowd full of eye candy for both men women. Outdoor bar adds to a fun, city night feel. Cosmos are delicious and moderately priced, and their appetizers (yucca frita and mini burgers with scallops) are fantastic! If you have a sweet tooth...invite a few friends to share their brownie sundae...outrageously good!

Appreciate what Manny 's is trying to do, but they fall short of expectations. Lets start with the fact that you 'd expect the wine at a high-end steakhouse to be served at optimal temperature, not room temperature leaning towards the warm side. The serving sizes are huge and while the quality of meats is rather good, the preparation fails to deliver as all at the table noted how overly salty the food was. It was overall not a bad experience, but definitely not memorable. We would rather go to Prime 112, Capital Grille, or Flemming 's as all of those are superior in all aspects (wine, food, and service).

I've visited this restaurant many times, and I've always had an excellent experience. The bartenders, Marina and Romo, are fantastic, as is the entire staff. The scallop sliders are great, though they can be a bit salty at times. The scallop benedict is exceptional. I take all my friends here, and I've never received a complaint from anyone.
