You will learn a lot about graffiti, art, and hip-hop culture, beyond common knowledge. The Museum of Graffiti does a great job of paying homage to the foundation of the art form. As a tourist, I really appreciated all of the local information, images, and history of the Wynwood area and it’s roots in the art scene.
As an art enthusiast, I enjoy visiting the Museum of Graffiti in Wynwood, and I must say, it is an absolute delight! The museum is very well designed and has some very impressive exhibits. The artwork on display is not only visually stunning but also provides a wealth of knowledge about the history and evolution of graffiti art. I was blown away by the sheer creativity and talent showcased in every corner of the museum. The staff were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer any questions and provide additional insights about the exhibits. It's clear that they are passionate about educating visitors on the importance of graffiti as an art form.Overall, I highly recommend the Museum of Graffiti to anyone interested in learning more about this unique and often misunderstood art form. It's a great place to gain a deeper understanding of the history and cultural significance of graffiti, and the exhibits are sure to inspire and amaze visitors of all ages. The gift shop is also really cool! 5 stars all the way!
We stopped by the Museum of Graffiti on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time exploring the exhibits and items on display. We got a little turned around trying to find the museum but happened to pass by someone wearing a Museum of Graffiti shirt who was nice enough to point us in the right direction. Once we arrived we were greeted by Carolyn and Ryan who were very sweet to my 2 year old. After chatting with them about the museum and exhibits, Carolyn lead us over to two nice gentlemen named Caleb and David who got us our tickets and sent us on our way for the self guided tour. This was my son's first time at an art museum, and I was a bit worried about how he would act, but everyone was so nice and welcoming and we all had a great time. Carolyn was even nice enough to come over and play some records that were part of an exhibit for my son and he was over the moon. I definitely reccomend checking out the Museum of Graffiti the next time you are in Wynwood. Great place and awesome staff!
I had an amazing time at the Museum of Graffiti! My friend and I strolled in our of curiosity. After interacting with the staff we decided to buy tickets. Carolyn was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was so happy to share information and answer all our questions. Loved the entire experience. 10/10 recommend
This was such a fun thing to do on our mother/daughter trip to Miami ! I'm such an artsy person and seen that you can book a graffiti class before you actually tour the museum. We learned a lot about the history of graffiti and even some graffiti etiquette. Our teacher was awesome and encouraged our creative juices to flow. The gift shop had some cool items for purchase and everyone was super nice .I would definitely recommend visiting and taking the class before hand if you can (or they still offer it
