Contribuisci feedbackOn Saturday, December 2, we ordered food for the company where I work. And when I saw the menu online, the Pescado Susado dish didn't say it contained shrimp. I ordered it and when it arrived, before trying it, I called Pollo Inka and asked them to find out if that dish had shrimp because I am extremely allergic to shrimp, and the man who answered the phone told me that it did not have shrimp and I asked him twice and he confirmed it. I believed him and began to eat the dish. When I took the first bite I immediately sensed my allergic reaction had started. I had to take my medicine and have the epipen in my hand because I didn't know how strong the reaction would be. At that moment the restaurant called me and said that the base where they cooked the fish had shrimp in it. Of course it was after they told me it was safe to eat it that they went to check it with the kitchen and confirmed that the sauce contained shrimp. I was super furious and I told them that they are irresponsible and how do they play like that with a person's life. I told them how danderous it would be for me if I eat anything containing shrimp. Once I got my condition under control I called the restaurant to complain about what had happened and the manager's assistant, I think her name was Ana, told me why they hadn't put a note on the order where it said that I was allergic, I told her yes. That was a mistake but I called before eating it and I told him how important it was to verify that the dish was free of shrimp. How badly this man treated me by giving a quick answer rather than taking the time to check the kitchen to be sure it was safe for me to eat. I told him that at the very least the manager would call me . I thought it was terrible how they handled it and to make things even worse they still have not updated menu warning people that the dish contains shrimp and it should be printed to prevent this from happening to someone else. I do not recommend this restaurant at all, they are very irresponsible
Visited El Pollo Inca with my friend and then we came back. We have tasted 4 different ceviche, all of them great with right balance of sour. The octopus was amazing. I can highly recommend the food. Daniel the owner was very friendly and accommodating. He and his restaurant were recognized with medals for quality of dishes. Service was excellent and answered all our requests.
Dropped in to El Pollo Inka while traveling through Miami, based on the terrific reviews and our love of Peruvian cuisine. Previously perusing the online menu we saw the Chaufa de la Casa, one of our favorite dishes. Ordering the Chicharron de Calamar starter, we followed with the Chaufa, a generous serving of delicious fried rice, chicken, beef and shrimp. A terrific dish!! And they serve a very tasty chicha morada, pretty much my favorite bebida with dinner!! Our hostess Veronica was an angel, seeing to our satisfaction without interfering with our enjoyment of the meal. She made us welcome, and we felt at home there. And a big thank you to that invisible team in the kitchen, for their expert preparation of our dinner!!
Great food at right price. Excellent service. We love the ceviche, lomo saltado and other plates. Thank you Veronica and Claudia
