It's alarming that such behavior is tolerated by management. It reflects poorly on the owner and goes against the values a restaurant should uphold. Please think twice before supporting a place that allows such treatment of customers. I truly feel for her employees, who must dread coming to work under such a tyrannical leader.
I recently visited this restaurant and left feeling quite disheartened. I've been coming here for years and always order the same items: a side of rice, tabbouleh, and quinoa salad, which I typically pair with my morning smoothie from next door. However, this time I had a terrible experience with the staff, particularly with Matthew and Ghoacha. I don't think I'll be returning. I even offered to pay extra for a smaller portion so it would be easier for me to manage my meal, but I didn't receive the help I was hoping for. I tried to reach out to the manager but it didn't go well.
We had a late lunch at the restaurant and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. The atmosphere was quite loud, primarily due to the young staff and some older employees who were not only noisy but also quite rude to their younger colleagues. The food was overly salty and overpriced, with very small portions. The lamb kabob was burnt and unappetizing. The prices for the well drinks were also excessive. We ordered extra lamb kabobs, and it felt like they were counting them as they placed them on our plate. I definitely won’t be returning.
Wow. I never write reviews, but I had to tell the public. It's too expensive. $17 for a fast food plate that is moderate and they give you a spoon of sauce. Not to mention that you have to pay extra for feta cheese or olives! A Mediterranean place. In any case, it won't be back.
I actually like this place, just read some reviews about rude employees, I think it's a cultural difference. I come here to pick up dinner every other week and have enjoyed it so far. I love that they have salad as a base, and portions are pretty good usually. Hummus is a bit blend, but garlic dipping sauce is everything! Oh and the baklava is really good!
