Authentic dishes, drafted La Chouffe (which gave me my mountain name: Mr chouffe and most of all: what a team: super sympha, always there to help and always ready for a joke and some laughter ! Many regards for my deaf waitress : ! Well done team ‘les carlines’ we will we back !
Horrible. Overcrowded. No single covid-related rule was enforced: people cueing inside an overcrowded room (with extremely slow self-service; we cued for more than 30 minutes), many not wearing face masks or not wearing them correctly, while no single staff member made any comment. No checking of pass sanitaire (despite legal obligation). Horrible. Stay away until pandemic is over!
Whether sunny or stormy, it 's always good to know where to stop for a break. Les Carlines is a MUST for all skiers. Perfect for a 'vin chaud ', a quick bite or a long lunch. Easy to get to for both skiers and walkers.
Best budget for takeaways (great fat steaming cheeseburgers , i had lunch there with family, the place is very charming, the service is not intrusive, the staff (local is friendly and always happy to give advice, after snowboarding the food is exactly what you need, some savoyards salads, tartifflette, huge plates of pasta and more local dishes plus the day 's menu. Don 't miss the top class home made vin chaud and its secret mind blowing extra (genepy i heared ; I highly recommend that place and the panoramic view is pretty impressive.
