If you tell them you want it hot, they will make IG super hot and it's you will definitely enjoy that spice. I also had the Laos sausage that which was so delicious with the green papaya salad. I'm telling you, the two together is awesome! Something about Laos sausage makes it so different, I don't know what they put in it, but it's so yummy. I'll definitely be back for more.
So I don 't usually leave reviews, but I really loved the food. The restaurant is across the food court aka Phase 1, aka Uptown, aka Whatevertheydecidedtocallitthistime. We got a sampler that had Lao ribs, Lao sausage, pork chop and crispy pork belly. It was totally worth it! You can also get sticky rice on the side. The ribs were good; I really liked the seasoning. The pork belly reminded me of lechon and was served with onions and tomato on the side. The pork chop was good and had some sort of vegetable topping. The best thing was the Lao sausage. It was flavorful with a lot of herbs and had a good snap to it when you bit it. There was a bit of spice, but not overly spicy.... But I also like REALLY spicy things, so if you can 't handle spice I wouldn 't recommend the sausage. We are definitely coming back here again. I wanted to add that I also writing this review because I am thankful for the wonderful food. Last night 's dinner was a bust at a new place I tried and I was afraid to try a new place again only to be disappointed again. So glad that we found a new favorite place to eat at Pearlridge!
TAMARIND with li hing drink and TRUFFLE POKE!!! If you're in search of something unique and tasty... this is the place to try!!! Gotta keep an open mind about venturing in extraordinary foods and flavors. If you're up to the challenge... do it!!!
Issue 2 of a three part series. I know you read my Bo's Kitchen review because this is part two. A recap from the pervious episode, it's the restaurant that has to it's right Bo's Kitchen and to the left is HiFi Cafe. All confined to the same space as the old Taco Bell. Here at Asian Flavors, I only hot the Thai Loa Sausage. It's one sausage cut up into 6 pieces. Like how Chili's cuts a standard egg roll in half to make it look like two pieces. The illusion of more bang for the back. But this is worth the price because it was good. You get the heat in the end and the accompanying sauce add another layer of flavor. You can eat the sausage with or without the sauce. Overall three stars. I'm not gonna judge a restaurant on one appetizer with anything above a three. Stand by for my next review. Some Yelp channel, same corny jokes. Now excuse me, time to enjoy my duck noodle soup. Aww man it's still hot!!!! M
One of the best crispy pork belly plates on the island to me, comes from here! It's delicious and fried, yet still tender. It comes with the most delicious shoyu/vinegar sauce with pieces of diced white onions and tomatoes, and two scoops white rice. It kinda reminds me of like a lechon kawali which is like a Filipino style fried pork. When I feel like I don't want to eat rice, you can also get it as a salad which is equally delicious (if you're watching your carb intake). Every single dish I tried here is so bomb and flavorful! Crazy Asian fries Spring rolls: SERIOUSLY THE BEST EVER!!! Crispy pork belly salad Long bean salad Papaya salad Asian tofu salad If you have the chance, please come and try their food! I've learned today that the last day might be Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 (Christmas Eve). A new place will open up in their space. *sad face* It's so vital right now to support local, so places like these will continue for long time! In addition to trying great food, you're also supporting a person/family's dream! Follow them on Instagram @asianflavorshi
