Lenape Heights Golf Resort - Ford City

We had reservations for tomorrow night and they just called and said they were closed and sold.

Lenape Heights Golf Resort is such a beautiful location for a wedding. The backdrop is perfect for pictures. The rooms for getting ready are flooded with natural light and very spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I photographed a fall wedding there and the leaves were stunning in the background.

Closed! Cancelled my tee time, but neglected to mention that the entire facility was shutting down. Ended up having to find last minute accommodations for my team when we arrived to a completely abandoned clubhouse and hotel. Heard from our client locally that some of their out of town management had been kicked out of the hotel the week prior on short notice because the property had been sold. No idea of this is accurate or not, but they were told it was being converted into a rehab facility.

We have stayed here several times without issue. However we recently stayed during a snow storm and learned that this place has horrible customer service. Many people including myself slide down the hill leading to the inn. We are from New York and the front desk, including the general manager, told us it is up to us to get our car from out the snow where it was stuck. They did not provide any towing phone numbers at all. Then when I put my review on Booking, the general manager lied and stated we were provided with towing numbers. Now I see why this place is never booked up and pretty cheap. Look elsewhere for somewhere to stay.

Rooms were nice and they were clean. The staff were very friendly. The only knock is the breakfast. We decided to just go get something else to eat instead.
