Pollo Maya - Forest Hill

I visited about an hour before closing time, and the chicken was still incredibly juicy and delicious! The young lady who took our order was really friendly. Some of the salsas had fantastic flavors, and none of them were too spicy (so if you're a fan of heat, you might be disappointed). I also tried a burrito, which was decent, but the chicken is definitely the standout item!

The chicken is delicious and not dried out like at other restaurants. It's moist, incredibly tender, and cooked over wood flames right before your eyes. The side dishes are flavorful and pair perfectly with the chicken. The service is excellent, making it worth every penny. I'll definitely be back for more of this amazing food!

I wasn't impressed with the Quesitacos; the tortilla fell apart and was mushy. Since this was a to-go order, it might be better to try them fresh at the restaurant, as some dishes just don't hold up well during travel. On the other hand, the Nachos were a completely different experience! They were absolutely amazing—10 out of 10, highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was disappointed with the food. I paid $20 for three tacos and an agua fresca, but the asada and pastor tacos lacked flavor. They also served the food in a Styrofoam container (as shown in the picture). Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

This restaurant has definitely declined. I used to love the flavors, but today the rice was hard, the meat was unappetizing, and the tortillas were poor quality. It's a serious health concern. The cook really needs to improve. Rating: 1/5.
