Shipley Do-nuts - Forest Hill

I absolutely love this place! Their donuts are consistently perfect, served hot and they melt in your mouth. I used to be a fan of Krispy Kreme donuts, but then I discovered Shipley's Doughnuts...

I love Shipley that's why I came this morning. I didnt stay and didn't order because the lady filling the jelly donuts wasn't wearing gloves and the lady at the counter didn't see a problem with it. Be advised, those donuts you see and order may have been touched with bare hands...

I arrived at 6:00 AM hoping to enjoy some fresh donuts, but the filled ones were cold, hard, and seemed like they were made the day before. If I hadn’t been on my way out of town, I would have happily returned to express my disappointment! I travel frequently for work and usually enjoy Shipley donuts, but this visit was by far the worst experience compared to the others. You'd expect to get warm, fresh donuts shortly after they open, but that wasn't the case at this location in Fort Worth.

I enjoy Shipley donuts, but with the recent price increase, I think it might be more cost-effective for me to buy biscuit dough, sugar, and powdered sugar to make donut holes at home. That said, the overall service was fantastic and very friendly.

The store advertises that it is open until 6pm which is actually false. The store claimed to have last verified this a week ago but this seems to be a common issue. Hopefully they will correct it at some point.
