Austin Street Pizza - Forest Hills

This is my favorite spot in the neighborhood for a slice of pizza. There have been several times when I intended to order just one slice, but when they put out a fresh pie, I can't resist and end up ordering another. I’m giving it four stars only because they don’t offer delivery, and the seating can get a bit cramped at times.

This place took me back to the neighborhood pizzerias of my childhood. With '80s rock playing in the background, a brick oven pumping out delicious pizzas, and fast, friendly service, it really hits all the right notes. They offer pickup or dine-in, and it’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing while keeping things straightforward. The 2.0 pizza was absolutely amazing! There are some subtle but crucial details that distinguish a great New York pizzeria from the rest, and Austin Street Pizza has nailed them. Just thinking about their pizza is making my mouth water. This is hands down the best pizza in the area, even compared to Nick's before it burned down. I realize it might be controversial to say, but they surpass Nick's for sure. Stop by, grab a few slices, sit down, and savor it. If I’m lying, I’m dying—this place is the real deal!

A reliable place to eat; the prices for pizza are a bit on the higher side, but the crust is excellent.

PIZZA IS DELISH !! Fresh Quality Ingredients used to create a fantastic taste. A clean cozy spot. I will stop by everytime I visit from Astoria. Go by and check out the new gem on Austin Str. !!
