Corfu Grill Nyc - Forest Hills

EDIT: I’ve heard that the owner has made some unfortunate comments on social media, but that doesn’t change my positive review. I love the food and the staff here, and fortunately, I haven’t had to interact with the owner.

Instead of a burger, we ended up ordering chicken souvlaki, lamb gyros, pork souvlaki, and befteki. I was particularly impressed with the chicken and pork souvlaki; they were both very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The dish was served with some delightful rice and a side of beans. However, I found the befteki a bit too heavy on the spices. The first few bites were delicious, but it became overwhelming after a while. We all noted that the prices seemed significantly higher than we remembered, though they were still in line with other restaurants in the area. When we asked for extra pita bread and tzatziki sauce, we were surprised to be charged an additional $3. Overall, dinner was decent, but I’m not sure when I'll return.

Excellent food! The service was also decent. Wife had the #2 dish that has a soup, choice of meat and a salad. She chose the Falafel, which was very good. I had the chicken that was very good. A bit for the food, as it is more like cooking at home, so it takes longer, but this is perfect with us. Price was also right. We would definitely return.

I visited this restaurant for dinner, and I was really impressed with the food! I tried lentil soup for the first time, and I couldn’t get enough of it. The chicken kebab was exceptionally juicy, and the tzatziki sauce was delicious too. Plus, they had half-priced drinks during happy hour!
