Trout Air Tavern - Forest Lake

The fishing was enjoyable, though it didn't compare to the nostalgic charm of fishing for old trout. It's a small pond, but we managed to catch quite a few.

We used to frequent the old Trout Air restaurant and were curious to see if the fish was still as good as we remembered. The fish was tasty, but it was definitely a small portion—barely more than a tablespoon once it was taken off the skin. It was just half of a small fish. However, the service was excellent and prompt. I didn’t have dinner this time, but other items on the menu looked quite appealing.

The food here is excellent. The baked rainbow trout is particularly tasty, and the jumbo egg rolls are the best I've ever had.

The food is decent for the price you pay, but we have come for a few years and the service has become slower and slower.

Had the udon noodles. Chicken was tasteless and horrible. Noodles were mush. Service was ok.
