Checkers - Forest Park

We placed three separate orders for the double checker cheeseburgers at the walk-up window—my grandson and I. The manager initially informed us that we could only use one coupon for all three orders, but eventually she allowed us to use one coupon each. We returned with six double cheeseburgers for a picnic lunch in the parking lot with my brother and grandson. Unfortunately, all the burgers turned out to be singles and weren’t fresh. Checkers in Forest Park, you’ve disappointed me this time.

I placed an order for funnel cake fries through DoorDash, but I never received them. I reached out to DoorDash, and they told me there was nothing they could do and advised me to contact the restaurant directly. I tried calling two different numbers I found for the restaurant, but neither of them worked. It's absolutely ridiculous. I also tried the store number listed on DoorDash, but my call was ignored. I will not be ordering from them again. I want to file a complaint with corporate!

This is just a small rant, but I believe that customer service should always be a priority. My colleague was on the phone with me and heard everything unfold. I felt compelled to share my experience in this review – this restaurant doesn’t even deserve a star. The way I was treated here would make me hesitant to return, even if it was just to bring a pet!

This is the only Checkers location I go to and the food is great, but it is expensive and they are often out of stuff such as the sundaes which is a shame. We also ordered the 8pc fry tenders combo today and it literally turned out to be like 18dollars???? That is ridiculous, Checkers in general needs to change this pricing. Not to compare, but at Popeyes you can getbigger chicken pieces or combos for way cheaper. The food was good, but the price for that specific combo was just crazy. Idon't know if it was the drink that made it expensive or whatever, but the chicken pieces were too small to be worth 18 dollars,should've been like $10 or less. For $18, they either need to add more pieces, make them way bigger or something. Don't know ifwe were overcharged maybe or they missed something but will not be going back for this, we got this going home and didn't wantto go back to complain. I'd only recommend getting the fries or anything with fries as they're good. Their boneless chicken arealso bland whenever I used to get some. Go somewhere else for chicken, such as Popeyes or even Chick-fil-A which isclose-by. Edit: I just read other reviews and it's true that this location will take a long time to make your food and they maymess up orders

Don't even deserve one star truly order the 3 patty baconator and the regular baconator and my boyfriend ate his but mine is still sitting in the fridge waiting for someone to call us back there wasn't even bacon strips on the burger there were a coupleof crumbles and it didn't even look like it had the right patties on it but call corporate number 2 times and spoke with someoneabout this issue waiting for a manager to get back with us cause I want my burger made right I knew it was weird we didn't get a Receipt and after we were able to get home and start eating we understood why we weren't given one so we couldn't complain andthe food but guess what there still internet to get corporate number but still hasn't been very helpful very disappointing inthefood and customer service and how they are to their customers.
