Silverland Bakery - Forest Park

We tried a mixed half dozen of the brownies, and they were all delicious! Here's a picture of the ones we hadn't eaten right away.

Silverland has the most delicious brownies I've ever tasted, definitely the best in the Chicagoland area. I can't get enough of them!

I should have just bought the day-old treat my child picked out, especially when the cashier finally emerged from the back and asked, "Is that it?" But instead, I ended up purchasing several double chocolate keto brownies for $3 each. When I got home and unwrapped them, I found not a freshly baked, soft brownie, but a cold, frozen one. I thought maybe there wasn't enough demand for keto treats, so frozen would be acceptable. However, I quickly discovered it was not just frozen—it was freezer-burned. Nevertheless, I decided to take a bite. It was chalky, tasted freezer-burned, and the overwhelming flavor of erythritol was impossible to ignore. Double chocolate? It didn’t even seem like any cocoa powder made it into the mix at all. I usually give local businesses a second chance, but I see absolutely no reason to return to Silverland Bakery. It was a complete waste of time, money, and ingredients.

We will visit my friend and we stop the car to buy some brownies for them. I'm the only one who enters this place since my wife is carrying my son who is asleep. There are few people inside so I wait for a few minutes for my turn. I can't choose what tobuy because they have many kinds and flavors of their brownies. I can't decide since I don't know what it tastes like. So at theend I bought a 2 box of brownies for my friend and for us. I choose different kinds of brownies to put in the back. After I paidit I went to the car and drove out to the location of my friends. While driving we taste one box of brownies. And my wife lovesthe taste. I also like it. It's soft, sweet and yummy. The bake was really great.
