Slainte Irish Pub - Forest Park

Without a doubt, this is the best bar on Madison Street. I came here from Michigan to celebrate New Year’s and after leaving for about an hour, I couldn't resist coming back. I won’t be going anywhere else. Treat the bar staff well, and they’ll treat you right; they're fantastic people. If this review isn’t accurate, let me know, and I’ll make the trip back just to let you punch me in the face!

Scratch has relocated to this new spot, and it's a significant improvement! The entire Madison area just keeps getting better and better...

My friend and I were just looking for a bar to grab a beer and watch some sports, but when we walked in, a guy confronted us and wanted to start a fight. His girlfriend started yelling at us about "white pride" in Forest Park and threatening us. The restaurant staff did nothing to intervene, and we couldn't even enjoy a single beer there.

I stopped by to meet a friend on a Friday night two weeks ago, but when I arrived at 6 PM, the doors were locked, there were no lights on, and there was no sign of activity. I thought it was an Irish pub and that, being a new place, it couldn't be too bad. Unfortunately, it left a really bad first impression.
