Cowboy Chicken - Forney

I recently ordered a dish at this restaurant that included broccoli, but unfortunately, it was not fresh. The chicken was excellent, rated 10/10, and the potatoes and green beans were also tasty, rated 9/10 and 10/10 respectively. However, the broccoli was disappointing as it seemed old and was heavily seasoned with lemon pepper to mask the lack of freshness. I would have preferred if they had informed me that the broccoli was not fresh before serving it. I can tolerate the lemon pepper seasoning, but serving old broccoli is not acceptable. It should either be thrown out or not served at all.

I finally decided to give this restaurant a try, but I regret it as I will never get that hour back. The staff was a bit short-handed and seemed distracted. They would often look at the walls instead of paying attention to me or other customers. It felt like they had just hatched from their eggs. My fried chicken was served so cold that it was shaking. I was also surprised to find that the restaurant was very dirty. The crackers hidden behind my wife's spider webs had more flavor. I would recommend saving yourself the trouble and avoiding this place.

This is our favorite place for chicken. Everything from the roast chicken to the twice baked potatoes to the Mexican corn to the peach cobbler was delicious.

What did they do? Scrap the floor of a few pans to give me some potatoes!?? Had macaroni and Okra in my potatoes... Come on... not the best cowboy chicken around.... It is 03/03/2022 at 3:37PM ....BOOOO

Cowboy chicken has great chicken and service. I really enjoy their homemade ranch dressing, but let's be real if you are going to charge me for four ranch dressing you should at least fill the ranch cups all the way. The worker said she was instructed to only fill them halfway...I find very cheap to save minimal money. I know times are tough but you can ease up on ranch cheapness. Shame on the owner or manger for allowing this to happen. Very disappointing.
