Waffle House - Forney

Everything was served hot, but the eggs were undercooked and my pregnant wife couldn't eat them. We would have mentioned it to our waitress if she had ever returned to check on our meal, but she dropped off our food and then disappeared. My wife had to get up and ask for a refill herself. As former food service workers, we find it disappointing when a breakfast experience is ruined by subpar food and poor service, with no regard for the customers.

When my wife, mother, and I entered Waffle House, there were only two other people there. We all ordered coffee and our waiter, Casey, brought it to us quickly. After finishing our coffee, we asked him to take our order. It took 25 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was cold. One of the plates had to be taken back and the eggs were recooked, but the hash browns were still cold when they were brought back. When I asked for everything to be hot, the waiter angrily took my plate and threw it in the direction of the wash basin. There were three other couples dining at the time. The chef, David, was not helpful either. In the end, we only paid for the coffee and left feeling disappointed with the unprofessional service. We do not plan on returning to this Waffle House and will be contacting their headquarters to express our dissatisfaction. It is unacceptable to pay for a meal that was poorly prepared and served. This was the worst service I have ever received at a Waffle House.

I believe this restaurant may have changed management. My family and I recently dined at this Waffle House and I have to say, it was the dirtiest one I have ever been to. As someone from Atlanta who has visited countless Waffle Houses, I was truly embarrassed by the condition of this one. Even my husband, who usually doesn't notice cleanliness issues, remarked that the floor appeared to have not been cleaned in months. It's concerning and I believe the health department should inspect and possibly shut it down. It's disappointing because I have fond memories of visiting Waffle House with my family, just like my dad used to take me. We will not be returning to this location, it's just too unsanitary. I wouldn't even consider having dinner there.

My wife called in an order (4/15/22) and I went to get the food and the order was ready at the arrival. overall I'm glad I didn't have to wait since they were busy

Always like going to this place. My lil get away for a home cooked liked meal??
