242ate Cafe Bar & Grill - Forster

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in New South Wales near the Forster area. It is a great place to enjoy a meal with clean and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant in a fantastic location that feels like a great club. Our lunch consisted of delicious Hawaiian pizza and Chicken schnitzel, both of which were excellent.

This had a large variety of food on the menu, all lovely and well cooked,presented etc. Drinks are really cheap and there is a courtesy bus on the hour. Fabulous

We asked a few locals where to eat on a Sunday and some suggested this restaurant. I ordered rib rack, my wife had the chicken parmigiana. I enjoyed the ribs with sides of slaw and chipotle mayo. I smoke a lot of meat and this wasn't what I normally have, low and slow, but it was good. The chicken came out and was enormous. My wife enjoyed it.

Wife and I decided to have a spur of the moment meal out. Seen the 242ate cafe bar&grill in a local information booklet. Decided to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised. I mean don’t go to a club for a meal if you want gourmet chef hat meals. But we had a great meal here. Could not fault the food. Quick service, I had Texas BBQ ribs and my wife had scotch fillet. Both were great club meals. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place.
