Mernie's Pub - Fort Ann

In 2012, I traveled back to California, stopping for some disc golfing along the way after attending the Disc Golf World Championship in Charlotte, NC. While getting gas, I noticed a bar called Mernie's and asked the cashier if it was a friendly place for newcomers. They assured me it was. This place turned out to be fantastic! I enjoyed some cold drinks while camping, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I ended up playing pool with a father and his son, and the atmosphere was lively with great people all around. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

As I passed through Fort Ann on my life's journey, I was eager to experience Mernie’s Pub. Unfortunately, my travel companion's anger put a damper on my plans. I’m not certain that Mernie would allow dogs on the premises, especially given her stellar reputation. Next time, I'll make a greater effort to enjoy the evening there. Mernie's looks like a fantastic place within the lush greenery of New York, offering bar draft beer, food, rooms, and a package store.

Mernie's Pub is undoubtedly the best place to hang out in Fort Ann.

Make sure you try the pickled sausage and crackers!
