The pâté was silky and incredibly flavorful, and the compound butter on the side was a luxurious touch. Paired with two pieces of freshly baked house bread, along with cornichons and microgreens, it made for a well-rounded dish. Next, I had the beet salad. I found the dressing to be quite sour, but adding the beets helped balance the sharpness. However, the sesame seeds didn’t seem to enhance the salad at all. Finally, I tried the sea bass nage. The fish was perfectly crispy, and the highlight of this dish was the fish fume; it was bursting with flavor, and I couldn't help but keep sipping on it.
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate both my birthday and my partner's birthday, and it was simply incredible. Fort Collins doesn't have many serious foodie destinations—at least that's how I see it, coming from the Denver area and having enjoyed a three-week food tour in Italy two years ago. Bistro Nautile changes that by bringing in some classically trained French culinary expertise to an excellent seafood-focused concept. The menu is filled with traditional French delights that are sure to please anyone willing to step beyond fast food. At this price point, I expect to be impressed, and I can confidently say that every dish and drink I tried exceeded my expectations. Our server, Ricky, also provided exceptional service. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!
This is the best food I've had in town, paired with fantastic service! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the dishes were exquisite and well-prepared. I highly recommend trying the dirty martini with pickled okra (check out the photo, haha) and the bone marrow—they're both amazing!
Went to Bistro Nautile for our 2nd time last night and it’s now officially our favorite restaurant in Fort Collins! This town has loads of sports bars, burger joints, and fast casual restaurants but we’ve really been needing a nice restaurant that consistently does good food (all of the other “nice” restaurants, in my experience, have been hit or miss . Enter Bistro Nautile: finally a great restaurant! This restaurant is a bit pricier but totally worth it. Possible a birthday, celebration, or business meeting type spot. Last time I got the fish dish and last night I got the gravlax special and the friend chicken special. My husband got the scallops. Everything was amazing! Finished up the meal with the berry trifle (and last time we did the key lime pie and chocolate cake — everything was perfect and I’d even consider stopping by for just dessert! Highly recommend! We will be back. :
I'm knocking off one star bc the risotto was so bad I didn't touch it and they comped me for the meal. Now everything else was decently goodish. My drink was the kir noir and it was excellent. The bone marrow was okay. A bit overdone so there wasn't much marrow. My friends had the hanger steak and some beef bourguignon I think it was. Those were tasty. The French onion was also quite good. The creme brulee I found just decent. The top was good but I did find the custard to be a touch grainy. It's Thursday and they were quite busy so maybe it was just an off night. We probably won't go out of our way to eat here again, but will be back if we're in the area. Oh but are server was a real sweetheart and the darling of the meal. Top notch service. That's honestly enough to keep me at four stars with the option for five if we go back and the food improves a bit.
