The Village Cafe - Fort-Coulonge

This was my first time visiting this restaurant after walking by yesterday. It was very busy. Today is Monday at 12:30pm and it was still pretty busy with the lunch crowd. At this restaurant, you have to line up.

Quality ingredients usedHad the breakfast one day and the southwest chicken sandwich the nextBreakfast was great, especially the toast and jam.

Excellent little Cafe for Breakfast or Lunch. Home cooking. Pies to die for. Extremely friendly staff. Service with a smile. Try it and see.

There aren't many dining options in Fort Coulonge, but we finally decided to stop at this Café after passing by it for years. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast and self-serve coffee refills. The owner, Joanne, was preparing homemade beef and barley soup for lunch, and we definitely plan on returning.
